This week The Evening Standard learned what the general public really thinks of the Mazda MX-5 RF through speaking to a number of prospective owners.

Three in-market individuals who already own sports cars gave their feedback and had nothing but praise for the iconic roadster, awarding it with both 4 and 5-star reviews.

Whilst one customer had fallen in love with the soft-top version, having placed an order after being impressed by the “awesome” paintwork, “fantastic quality” interiors and automatic gearbox, it was the new Mazda MX-5 RF that was clearly the most sought-after amongst the group.

The “clever and elegant” roof design, with “simple one-button” technology made the Mazda MX-5 RF an attractive option when compared to other sports cars currently on the market. One customer noted the “improved headroom for someone who’s over six foot”, whilst another enjoyed the way the sleek roof looks when up, saying that it’s “the only car currently on sale that meets his brief”.
